We just adore the delicate hand but striking work of Wicklow artist Rebekah van Kan. Inspired by her love of animals, this is a truly beautiful painting of ‘Jesse’ – ‘Connemara Filly on a Sunny Morning’. Animal lovers, and in particular horse lovers, will appreciate the elegance and emotion that this piece of art portrays in this beautiful animal.
Rebekah has just dropped us off a new painting too of a lovely old donkey which is currently being photographed and will make its way to our website in the coming days - and word has it, she has some amazing cow paintings to follow! Well, okay then, we were lucky enough to get a sneak peek of what she is currently working on in her studio and they are AMAZING!!! We literally can’t wait!

Although these pieces are actually oil on a specially primed paper, they are fused to a board using archival techniques so that each piece is future proofed to behave rather like canvas.
